Happy Birthday Dr. Suess!!

Posted by Laura Losch on March 2, 2009

That’s right – today is not only the first day of our Book Fair, but also the birthday of Theodor Suess Geisel. He wrote numerous children’s books under the name Dr. Suess – like The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham. What a wonderful author he was! So let’s have a “Suessical” Day today – even though most counties have cancelled school and we’re still going to school! But think of how wonderful it will be on a warm, sunny day when we will be out of school enjoying the weather, but all the other counties will have to make-up the snow day they took today!  🙂

Oh, the places we’ll go!! See you in the library!!
