Check Books for Signatures

I’m back from the Georgia Children’s Literature conference in Athens, GA! I was so excited to meet Gail Carson Levine (Ella Enchanted) and Peter Sis (The Wall). I was also excited that they autographed the books we have in our library. So the next time you pick up a good book, check the first few pages to see if an author has signed it. In Peter’s book The Wall, which is located in our graphic novel section, he signed his name inside of a drawing he made. You can probably imagine how long the line was to have him sign a book when he was drawing a picture in each book! But it was worth it!

So before you read, check the front of the book, there may just be a cool signature in there!
