There is going to be a movie version of The Lightning Thief! This book by Rick Riordan was on this year’s Reading Bowl list of books. The movie – scheduled for 2010 – will be called Percy Jackson. The film company hopes it will become a “Harry Potter” empire. We’ll see! I wonder who the actor is playing Percy!

Yesterday we received our last order of new books for the school year! 😦 It’s sad that it’s our last order of the year, but also happy because we received over 100 new books! Stop by and peruse – I purchased many complete series books like Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Cirque du Freak, and High School Musical!
Here are some lucky guys who happened to be in when the boxes of books arrived!
