Rick Riordan is coming to the ATL!

Posted by Laura Losch on May 8, 2009

How cool is this! Rick Riordan, author of The Lightning Thief and The 39 Clues will be here in our area on Monday, May 18th! He will be at the Decatur Recreation Center on behalf of The Little Shop of Stories in Decatur beginning at 4:30 p.m.  But based upon how popular he is – you will want to arrive as early as possible – like right after school!

This is really exciting because Rick Riordan is a huge author and very popular here at South Hall Middle! Plus The Lightning Thief is being made into a movie soon, so now’s the chance to meet the author before he becomes WAY popular like Stephenie Meyer.

This made my Friday! Have a great weekend!
