Get your geek on. . . .

Posted by Laura Losch on August 18, 2009

As you change for connections or walk to lunch, check out our new bulletin board across from the media center. Geek the library! This bulletin board reminds us all that we need to support not only our media center here at South Hall, but all public libraries as well. Check out Geek the Library for more information. Many public libraries are cutting hours or even closing down due to the economy! Make sure you’re being a good citizen and patron and stop by your local library!

Now, this bulletin board needs your help! I want to know what sport, book, subject, or item YOU geek! Stop by the media center for a special marker and write on the board what you geek. Here are some pictures of the board and some sample “geek” items from some of the teachers.

See you in the library!
